Project Milestone: Lexden and Steyne topping out ceremony

18 Sept 2025

We’ve reached topping out at Lexden and Steyne – a key stage for our project in Ealing delivering 188 new homes.

A fantastic opportunity to bring together the whole project team, along with members of Ealing Council, including Leader Cllr Peter Mason and Deputy Leader Cllr Louise Brett, to mark the occasion and celebrate the project’s progress so far.

Speaking at the event, Cllr Mason reflected on the design’s impact stating: “These new homes mark a major step in tackling the shortage of genuinely affordable housing in our borough, giving local people the security, stability, and foundation they need for a better quality of life…

We are building stronger communities full of pride, identity, and purpose, where everyone can benefit from the growing prosperity in our 7 towns. It’s not just about new buildings, but about creating a better-connected borough for residents of all ages.”

Our proposal reimagines the 1970s Steyne Estate as contemporary, community-led neighbourhood, delivering three new buildings to include: Block A, a 20-storey building of 111 homes, Block B, an 8-storey Passivhaus, designed specifically for elderly residents with 71 homes and Block C, a three-storey building with 6, 3-bedroom family-sized homes.

The scheme is on track to complete late Autumn 2026 – read more about the project here.

Well done to all those involved!
